Saturday, June 27, 2015. We have been doing classes a the Champaign School of Music. They spend the first 5-10 minutes singing a welcome song and things like that. Then they practice the ukulele with Mr. This includes things like learning the string names, how to hold the ukulele, how to pluck the right string, etc. Then, they get to do piano with Ms. Basic key recognition, learning soft and quiet, very simple songs, etc. Tuesday, June 16, 2015.

On Saturday 19th October I got up at a time rather earlier than I might like to on a Saturday and navigated two mainline trains and wee zip round on the London Underground to arrive at Sandown Racecourse for the Big Bead Show. The reason for my early start? The necklace which sparked the idea for my competition piece. My purchases from the day being surveyed by Beadrick Featherington.

Tuesday, March 23, 2010. We are a few days into Spring Break and so far, so good! No major meltdowns. From Sew a Straight Line. They are so easy and SO CUTE! I used grosgrain ribbon for the top of the skirts and ties and hemmed the bottom with 2 rows of stitches. Here are a couple of photos.

My 6-year-old was pretty sure that even though his mom was old, that she still learned things everyday. I agree, I soak up wisdom from lots of places, some of my favorites lately have been from my boys. 6 When you are six and 50 inches.
